Number Match is the classic newspaper number puzzle, rebuilt: cross out pairs of equal numbers, or pairs that sum to ten, when they sit next to each other, in a row, a column, a diagonal, or wrapped across line ends, with nothing but empty cells between. How to play Number Match
- Tap two numbers that are equal or sum to 10.
- Pairs must see each other: same row, column or diagonal with no numbers between, or across a line break.
- Use “Add rows” to re-deal the remaining numbers when you run dry (limited uses).
- Clear every number to finish; streaks of quick matches score bonus points.
Frequently asked questions
Which pairs can I match?+
Equal numbers (7-7) or pairs summing to ten (3-7, 4-6…), as long as only empty cells sit between them along a straight line, or one directly follows the other across the line wrap.
What if no moves are left?+
Use an Add-rows deal to append the remaining numbers to the board. Run out of deals with no moves left and the run ends.
How does Endless mode work?+
Clear a board to bank a stage bonus and deal the next, bigger board with fewer re-deals. Your run score keeps climbing until you finally run dry, that total is your endless best.
