You are still connecting four. The board stops holding still.

A square 7 by 7 board. Gravity starts pointing down.
Every four chips placed, gravity rotates clockwise: down, left, up, right.
When it turns, every unanchored chip slides to the new floor.
A visible counter shows exactly when the next shift lands.
You get two Anchor charges per match.
Spend one before placing to lock one of your chips through the next shift.
An anchor releases after that shift, still counts toward a line, and cannot be re-used in the same cycle.
Four in a row wins, checked after every placement and after every settle.
If a settle completes a line for both players at once, the match is a draw.
